On 18th and 19th of November, Commission of Education, Culture, Tourism and Sport Issues of Batumi City Council discussed sub-projects foreseen by the 2016 budget of Batumi Municipality in corresponding spheres.
On Commission Meeting held on 18th of November, were presented sub-projects for professional development and support of education, culture; also programs for development libraries of Batumi Cultural Centre and local importance, accordingly leaders of Batumi City Hall services-Head of Educational and Cultural Department of Batumi City Hall-Lamzira Bolkvadze, Director of Batumi Cultural Center-Johny Sabashvili and Director of Batumi Public Library named after Akaki Tsereteli-Geno Makharadze presented the projects. 
On today’s meeting deputy director of Batumi Kindergarten Unification in the financial and economic field, Mamuka Shamilishvili spoke about project for preschool education foreseen in the budget and Head of Sport and Youth Deparment of Batumi City Hall-Ia Shalamberidze spoke about projects for youth and sport development foreseen in the budget.
Director of Batumi Sport Center-Irakli Beridze presented to the members of commission programs foreseen by the budget. 2016 year budget project of Batumi Municipality came in City Council on 15th of November. Now there is discussion of it in the commissions and factions of Batumi City Council.
After discussion and consideration members of commission, with some remarks gave positive recommendations to the sub-programs presented by the budget project in the field of education, culture, tourism and sport.
