The City Council’s regular session

Batumi City Council held a regular meeting. At the session review on nine-month performance report of Batumi municipality budget 2015 was presented by the Deputy Head of Batumi City Hall’s Financial-economic Service-Archil Vanadze. Head of the service has made a definition in connection with the events, funding of which was reduced in 2015 and transferred to the 2016 budget.
According to the decision made by the City Council members, henceforth, regulations about fee for cleaning the populated areas will be subject to the entire document, but the changes will not apply to fees. Also the debts accrued for subscribers at the base for the fees of populated area’s cleaning will be corrected.
By the decision made at the session, to the Autonomous Republic of Ajara, free of charge, was handed over the municipality-owned Mejinistkali District164.00 square meters of non-agricultural land parcel for the purpose of privatization.
The City Council approved the Mayor’s initiative about transferring of 292.0 sq. m. from the building located at the municipal-owned Kakhaberi District land parcel, for two years, free usufruct to the LTD “N 1 Polyclinic of Batumi” for the purpose of medical assistance.
The City Council also approved the Mayor’s initiative “about liquidation of Batumi Tourist Objects Management Agency” and instead of it establish N(N)LE  “Batumi Tourist Objects Management Agency” as well as about liquidation of N(N)LE “Batumi Development Foundation”
Deputies supported the initiative of placing Shota Davitadze’s memorial plague on the residential building on Khariton Akhvlediani St. N14a, clearance of amortized buildings located In Batumi Botanical Garden and improvement of living conditions for those people who are living in the area. The issue of street trading regulation and cityscape improvement was also supported by the City Council Deputies.
Also the candidacy of Vazha Ramishvili for the Chairman of Infrastructural Development Commission was supported by 17 members of Batumi City Council. 
Today’s City Council session was attended by the Mayor of Batumi Municipality – Giorgi Ermakov, representatives of Batumi City Hall and Non-Governmental Organizations.
