Commissions’ Joint Session

Today, in the City Council, Infrastructure Development and Finance and Economic Development Commissions joint session has been carried out. Members of Commissions talked about Batumi draft budget 2018.

According to the next year draft budget 74, 213, 9 GEL are allocated for infrastructure and municipal community facilities development program. 14, 656, 5 GEL – for improving ecologic environment and recreation infrastructure development program. 6, 082, 7 GEL – for apartment holders community support, apartment construction and emergency building rehabilitation and dismantling program. 465, 0 GEL – on municipal graves maintenance program.
At the session Batumi draft budget 2018 was presented by the Head of Finance Service, Archil Vanadze. As he said, according to the draft budget, Batumi Municipality 2018 budget appropriations in total will be 153,774,000. City’ infrastructure development, education, culture, youth promotion and sport, health service and social security remain as a priority of Batumi Municipality.
At the session, majority of the City Council members considered it appropriate to discuss the draft budget 2018 on the next session.
Commissions’ joint session was led by the Infrastructure Development Commission Chairman Gocha Mgeladze and Financial and Economic Development Commission Chairman Zurab Nakaidze.
