Today, the Chairman of Batumi Municipality City Council Suliko Tebidze met Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India in Georgia H.E. Yogeshwar Sangwan.
The meeting was of informative character and concerned mutual cooperation between two countries in order to improve investment environment and to make cooperation in the field of tourism.
The diplomatic union between Georgia and India started in 1992 year, 28 September. After that time these two countries have firm relation in the field of culture, education and economic. The Chairman of City Council thanked diplomat from India for visiting and presented symbolic gifts.
